How to Play Minesweeper
Never played before? Here is the quick version:
- Click a cell to reveal it
- Numbers tell you how many of the 8 surrounding cells contain mines
- Right-click (or long-press on mobile) to flag a cell you think is a mine
- Clear all non-mine cells to win
- Click a mine and you lose
That is the entire ruleset. The depth comes from the logic: using the numbers to deduce exactly where mines are and which cells are safe.
